Behind GreenSteam is a team of dedicated, highly educated engineers and scientists who have spent years of research to combine common-sense principles with advanced engineering to create a practical, simple-to-use energy saving system making it possible to reduce fuel consumption by 4-5% on average.
GreenSteam™ is part of Decision3 – a company researching and implementing quantitative decision support solutions. The company was founded by three M.Sc. candidates from the Technical University of Denmark in 2006 and is today based in the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic as well as in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Daniel is an expert in applied mathematics and has worked for many years with research into advanced modeling of real-world data.
Thomas Flinth | General Manager, Sales & Marketing
Thomas has for more than a decade been involved in international sales and marketing within the maritime industry. He is educated as Master Mariner and based in our office in Copenhagen.

Árni Arge | Chairman of the board, CFO of Formula – a Faroese IT company within the Faroese Telecom Group
Árni Arge brings experience from the international seafood industry as former CEO of Faroe Seafood and experience from marketing and newspapar publishing as former CEO and partner of the advertising bureau Petur & Petur.
Torben Ravn | Senior Technical Expert at Triton Shipping – an international shipping service and management company based in Denmark.
Torben Ravn brings vast experience of shipping and technicalship management knowledge to the company.
Lars Thrane | Founder and President of Thrane & Thrane A/S – a world-leading company within radio & satellite communication equipment
Lars Thrane has long experience in R&D processes as well as commercial knowledge on sales to the maritime industry.
Erik Østergaard | CEO of Dansk Transport & Logistik, the Danish branch organization for road-based transportation.
He has extensive executive experience from the maritime sector, such as having been CEO of Scandlines.
