PPG Sigma Coatings – New Strategic Partner
GreenSteam and PPG Sigma Coatings have signed an agreement joining forces in promoting GreenSteam Optimizer and GreenSteam Manager along with PPG Sigma Coating products like Sigma Syladvance 800 and Sigmaglide 990.
How can you combine coating and trim optimization?
Well, is quite simple: PPG Sigma Coatings guarantees the customers up to 5% in fuel savings by using specific coatings. But how to prove it? This is where GreenSteam comes in.
By using GreenSteam Optimizer to collect and analyze ships data & performance along with our new online performance monitoring system GreenSteam Manager the customer will be able to measure the actual change in performance of the vessel as well as fuel consumption.
The combined solution will be sold and delivered by PPG Sigma Coatings. The idea is to install GreenSteam Optimizer 4-6 months prior the dry-docking. The period will be used for proper data collection and performance monitoring before the new coating is applied.
The solution will still give you the possibility to trim optimize as well.
Installation, commissioning and warranty of the GreenSteam products will still be maintained by GreenSteam.
