GreenSteam OPTIMIZER
GreenSteam Optimizer is our on-board decision support solution. It constantly optimizes the trim and speed of the vessel according to measured conditions, thereby minimizing propulsion resistance.
It is an adaptive, data-driven solution, meaning that the basis for the optimization is data collected from the actual vessel itself.
GreenSteam Optimizer consists of 2 small GreenSteam radars to be installed in the bridge wings, as well as a console with a touch screen. This console connects to various vessel sensors (such as the wind sensor and fuel flow meters) and the radars.
As an alternative to the console, a built-in interface for existing consoles can be supplied along with a stand-alone touch screen.
A GreenSteam Optimizer is based on the GreenSteam Data Collector. It requires no major modification of the ship and installation takes less than a day if the cabling has been prepared.
